Display and Showroom – Terms & Conditions

1: Definitions: Under the terms and conditions of this document. Hanex UK Limited (“The company”, “we” or “Hanex UK”) refers to Hanex UK Limited whose registered office is Hanex House, Gravel Hill, Shirrell Heath, Southampton, SO23 2JQ. Our company registration number is 12271970. The terms “you” ‘fabricator’ and “customer” refer to the user and viewer of these terms and conditions.

2: Display Policy Material Terms:

  1. Free Hanex UK Sheet Material
  2. Free Hanex UK Cast Sink and Bowls
  3. Glues and accessories charged at list price, unless otherise agreed
  4. Photos and contact details featured on Hanex UK website

3: Order Procedure:

  1. Signed agreement and final drawings submitted to us.
  2. We will decide on the outcome of the display application and email whether the display has been approved within 2 working days.
  3. Approved display applications will also receive confirmation of list of free issue material raised as a Sales Order.
  4. Fabricator to confirm installation completion date and inspection date in writing.
  5. Only when the completion and inspection dates have been confirmed, Hanex UK will dispatch the free issue material.
  6. Hanex UK will visit he display on the inspection date, take pictures and check displays have been installed according to the drawings submitted in the application.
  7. Once the inspection has been completed, pictures and contact details will be listed and featured on the Hanex UK site.

4: Scheduled Deliveries

  1. Application of the display must be submitted with drawings and a signed agreement accepting the terms of Hanex UK display policy.
  2. Applications which fail to submit final drawings/plans for the display will not be valid.
  3. The quantity of free issue material will be decided by Hanex UK and items not listed will be charged at list price according to the current price guide
  4. Fabricator must provide a display completion date and confirm an inspection date for a Hanex UK representative to view the display.
  5. The fabricator must complete the display installation within 30 days from date of delivery of the free issue materials. If the fabricator fails to install within this period, Hanex UK reserves the right to invoice all the materials dispatched, including the free issue materials.
  6. The display must be in place for a minimum of 2 years from the inspection date.
  7. The display must clearly show product brand ‘Hanex Solid Surfaces’ at all times.
  8. The free issue materials in the display remain the property of Hanex UK Ltd.
  9. Any plans to remove or replace the display must be notified in writing to Hanex UK no less than 1 month before the removal date so the display can be collected by Hanex UK.
  10. If the company wishes to sell the display, this will require agreement between the company and the fabricator. A written confirmation of the selling price and agreement on how the funds will be divided.
  11. If the display is removed without notifying Hanex UK in writing, the company will be invoiced for all free issue materials. This will require immediate payment regardless of account type.
  12. In the case of a transfer or ownership or closure of the company, the display materials remain the property of Hanex UK.
  13. The fabricator can take ownership of the display materials if and only when they have purchased ten times the quantity of free issue sheets used in the display within 12 months from the date of inspection. E.g. if the company received 4 free issue sheets in 12mm and they purchased 40 sheets (in the same spec – 12mm) within 12 months, the company will no longer be obligated to notify Hanex UK regarding any removal or changes.

5: Additional Terms and Conditions

  1. The company does not accept display applications for locations which has a Hanex UK display already installed.
  2. Any display applications for a showroom which has Hanex UK already installed must send written confirmation to the company from the showroom/retailer and the fabricator who installed the original display. The written confirmation must state that both parties are no longer in a working relationship
  3. Show home locations must be confirmed and clearly displayed on their website. Any show homes that does not display the right address will not be approved.
  4. Due to the disclosure of the address on our display network website, it is the responsibility of the showhome owner to confirm the sale of the property prior to the transfer of the keys
