Cocoboard®

Cocoboard® by NaturLoop is a bio-based panel material made from 90% upcycled coconut husk fibres and 10% plant-based resin. Coconut husks, an agricultural by-product that might otherwise be burned or left to decompose, are transformed into durable sheet panels using a non-toxic tannin-based binder.

The material retains the natural character of coconut fibre, with a distinctive warm brown appearance and lighter fibre highlights. Designed as an alternative to conventional wood-based panels, Cocoboard® can be cut, milled and drilled using standard woodworking tools and is suitable for finishes including lacquers, laminates and veneers.

Cocoboard® can be used across furniture and interior applications, including cabinetry, tabletops, partitions and decorative panels. Its combination of agricultural waste fibres, bio-based bonding technology and conventional workability offers designers a lower-impact material option while preserving the tactile and visual qualities of its natural feedstock.
